We left cold Seattle on Friday morning. When we got to Mexico, it was very hot, but since it was nighttime, we couldnt really see the hotel very well. Our room is very nice. Dad and mom dont like the beds, because they're very small. There is this random column in the middle of the room, so i havent attempted to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. There is a jacuzzi though. haha. My favorite part is the hammock on the balcony.
Each night there is a performance. The first night was a pirate performance. It was pretty cool. I was expecting a weird play, but it was mainly gymnists.
Sunday, i went to Isla Mujeres with all the credit union people. I went snorkling, which was very short, but we saw plenty of fish. Mom bought a cute little scripture bag type thing. She bargoned for some hammocks, but Dad convinced her not to get them.
We mainly sat around and swam on Monday, but it started raining really hard last night. It only lasted about a half hour, and i went and ran around like i was ten years old. I even attempted a few cartwheels. :)
We went to a Micheal Jackson show, and it was really good. The mexican guy who was Michael looked very authentic and lip-synched well. :) Mom and Dad really liked it.I've read two books so far. I read Anne of the Island, and am looking forward to reading the next book, and I read Persuasion, by Jane Austen. I actually listened to that on my iPod, and was extremely disapointed that it was abridged.
